Information Systems is a discipline that brings computer technologies and management sciences together. Information Systems and Technologies department, combines classic computer engineering lessons with courses from management and other disciplines, thus providing its graduates a very wide employment field. This department, with a knowledge centered approach that created the modern sciences and technologies and an interdisciplinary education framework, aims to train capable and protean IT professionals that will successfully work in todays complex work areas. With this mission, this department offers up-to-date and theoretical knowledge to its students, providing them the opportunity to practise the theories they learn, training creative individuals with solid research and problem solving talents with a practical and analytical attitude of mind.
